Phil is excited and eager to help clients maximize their enjoyment of the beautiful lifestyle in Southwest Florida. A native of Florida and a true son of a son of a sailor, Phil's love of the water and boating was developed from an early age. Whether learning to sail with his grandfather, skippering his own craft across the gulfstream, or kayaking the back bays of the Caloosahatchee, Phil is most comfortable being on the water, making him a natural fit within Stokes Marine. Since moving to Fort Myers in 2006, Phil has established strong connections in the larger community, actively participating in the Rotary Club of Fort Myers; serving on the boards of the Sky Family YMCA and the Lakes Park Enrichment Foundation; participating in Boy Scout Pack 93; and serving as head Watch DOG at Allen Park Elementary School. Phil lives in Fort Myers with his wife, Paige, and their two boys, Zane and Baird.

With years of experience working with a diverse range of boats, Payson understands the unique needs and challenges that boat owners face in Southwest Florida. His knowledge of the local waterways and marine environment allow him to provide clients with tailored solutions that enhance their boating experience. Payson’s background in the marine industry equips him with the technical know-how to discuss everything from dock installations to boat lift systems, making him a trusted resource for customers. Payson is passionate about helping clients find the perfect solutions for their waterfront projects, whether it’s a new dock, lift, or maintenance service. His ability to connect with customers and understand their visions has made him a valuable asset to our team and the local community.
Travis Scott | Sales Professional

Travis is a native of Pine Island and has lived there for the majority of his life. He joined Stokes Marine in 2012. Most of his experience in marine construction was obtained here at Stokes Marine. His time as a crew leader on one of our frame crews gives him the knowledge to lead his team in a efficient direction while ensuring high levels of craftsmanship. He is a prime example of how hard work pays off and deserves all the internal promotions he has received to become Construction Manager. His primary goal is to ensure a superior quality dock and create relationships with each customer. Travis loves spending time with his family and is an avid fisherman.
Ken Cramer | Sales Professional

Ken Cramer is a Ft. Myers native, who has been with Stokes Marine for a year and half. After spending his first year in the service department utilizing his background as a home & service inspector, he was able to get a detailed understanding in marine construction. Ken continues to be a valuable member of our sales team providing unsurpassed customer service and care. He is consistently focused on the customer’s needs and truly enjoys everything about the marine construction process. Ken’s family and involvement in his local congregation is where is spends his time outside of Stokes Marine.
Conner Thompson | Sales Professional

Conner Thompson began his career with Stokes Marine in August of 2021 in our Service Department. His background of sales and management in the marine industry has prepared him for his role as a Sales Assistant. His extensive knowledge of boats and lift operations will aid in the design of docks and layouts. Conner moved to Fort Myers from Ponte Vedra in 2013 to attend Florida Gulf Coast University and fell in love with the local waterfront community and lifestyle. Conner is an avid boater, outdoorsman, and accomplished fisherman that spends every spare moment on the water.

Eric is excited to start a new venture with Stokes Marine. Eric relocated to Fort Myers in 2003 after spending much of his childhood on Sanibel Island fishing, boating and shelling with his family. He was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio but knew he would move south one day. Eric has spent the last 20 years in operations and management of various businesses including transportation and fleet maintenance. He is looking forward to working with new clients in the marine industry who have a dream he can help design into a reality. In Eric's free time he enjoys spending time with his wife, Samantha and their two boys, Zackary and Mason.
Luis Arroyo | Sales Assistant

Luis was born and raised in Southern California and moved to Florida in March of 2020. Luis joined our construction team the following July and was quickly promoted to lead our Special Projects Crew. Luis’ passion for design, eye for detail, and previous computer knowledge has led him to become a Sales Assistant at Stokes Marine. Luis is finding a passion for fishing and the Southwest Florida lifestyle and would love to own a boat of his own one day.

Layne is a Fort Myers Native, and active member of the local fishing community. He joined Stokes Marine team in 2020, quickly rising through the rank. Through hard work and dedication, he established himself as a top performing crew-leader, known for constructing docks to the finest caliber while ensuring optimal efficiency. Leveraging his previous field experience and eye for design, he looks forward to and is eager to work with clients and help them achieve he waterfront visions of their dreams. On my spare time he enjoys fishing, shooting, and gardening.
Nick Diconcilis | Sales Assistant

Nick was born and raised in Uniontown, Pennsylvania. He recently moved to SWFL with his beautiful girlfriend in 2021 and began working at Stokes Marine shortly after as a Service Technician. Before that he was following a career in Dental Lab Technology utilizing 3d cad, paying close attention to detail, designing dental prosthetics which really helped him transition in to dock design. He is now a Sales Assistant here at Stokes Marine.

Brian joined the Stokes team in September 2012. Brian’s previous background as a business owner combined with his past experience as a field technician has been instrumental in the growth of the service department. As the Service Manager, Brian’s main focus is to insure top quality repairs that are completed in a timely and professional manner. Born and raised in Detroit Michigan, Brian moved to the Fort Myers area in 1998 to enjoy the Southwest Florida Life style. He is an avid boater who enjoys fishing and golfing with his family.

Rudy is a native Floridian, He joined the Stokes Marine Team 5 years ago, straight out of the military. He has 2 kids. During his free time if he is not with his family he is riding his Harley or watching a Dolphins game.
Daniel Barefoot | Service Writer

Daniel Barefoot joined the Stokes Marine family in June of 2021 as a Service Technician. Before his career with Stokes Marine, he served 7 years in the US Navy. After serving oversees, he got married and moved to his wife’s hometown of Fort Myers Florida. Daniel enjoys fishing, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with his wife and 2 dogs at the beach.
Marissa Lovett | Service Coordinator

Marissa joined the Stokes family in the spring of 2023, shortly after she finished her 4-year commitment with the United States Coast Guard. During her time in the military, she was stationed in Hawaii and Philadelphia and grew a passion for marine culture and the lifestyle that comes with living close to the coast. She started with Stokes Marine in New Construction and quickly worked her way to being amongst the top performers in both quality and efficiency. Her work ethic and positive attitude has contributed to her success here at Stokes where she now holds the role of Service Coordinator. In her free time, you can find her at the beach, spending time her pups, or on a plane traveling with friends.
Lainey Holt | Construction Administrator

Lainey joined the Stokes Marine family in 2023. Her background in education and customer service lends itself to our construction administrator position. Lainey's position responsibilities include scheduling new construction jobs between our barge and frame crews, coordinating with electricians and service for the different needs of the project's demands, as well as communicating with customers about their project timelines. As a former teacher, she is able to pivot her skills to help work between our construction crews and customer satisfaction. Lainey is originally from the east coast of Florida, has lived out in the Southwest US, and now she has resided here in SWFL since 2015.

Pat joined the Stokes Marine family in 2011. With over 20 years of experience in commercial and residential construction, Pat brings a great deal of knowledge and know-how to our construction team. Pat has had the unique opportunity to build, sell and manage projects at Stokes Marine. His primary goal as construction manager is to provide each customer with a stress free and seamless construction experience. His attention to detail and quality standards ensure a top notch product. Pat was born and raised in Meadville, PA. He has resided here in SWFL for the last 10 years with his wife and 3 children.
Mike McCabe | Construction Manager

Mike McCabe joined the Stokes Team in 2015. Originally from the Midwest, he spent several years running charter boats on the Great Lakes, before moving on to Captain an Excursion Vessel in Southeast Alaska. After 8 years in Alaska, Mike eventually settled down in Southwest Florida, where he began work with Stokes Marine. He began his career with Stokes working on a Frame Crew, then moving on to become a Barge and Crane Operator, and is currently in the position of Construction Manager.
Tim Emerson | Construction Manager

Tim joined Stokes Marine in 2015. Tim brings a wealth of knowledge to our construction team and has over 20 years of experience in the marine construction. Tim has had the chance to lead a barge crew for a considerable period of time. Over time, Tim became certified as a crane operator. Tim was born in Texas and then moved to Fort Myers, where he completed high school. He has lived in the Fort Myers area his entire adult life. He likes to watch sports and travel in his free time. Tim is currently working in the position of Construction Manager.
John Siekmann | Permitting Manager

John came to Stokes with over 10 years of experience in the mechanical and electrical industry. John started in our Sales Department, worked in our Service Department and is now running our Permitting division. His primary goal is to help us streamline and fast track our customer permitting process to allow our customers to build their waterfront dream. John was born and raised in the Midwest where he met his wife Tracy. John graduated from Northern Illinois University and shortly after they decided to move to southwest Florida to enjoy everything on and under the water. They spend their weekends boating, fishing, and exploring everything Florida has to offer.
AJ Ford | Mechanic

Aj joined Stokes Marine in 2019. AJ has a background in heavy machinery mechanics, as well as working on a barge. He also is a NIC certified crane operator. AJ brings his expertise in mechanics to the Stokes Marine Team. AJ was born and raised in Indiana before moving to Lee County in 2014. In his spare time AJ likes to fish as well as spend time with his wife and children. AJ is currently working as a mechanic at Stokes Marine.

Aaron recently moved back to Florida from Virginia. He spent most of his years in SW Florida. He came to Stokes Marine for a career opportunity as a mechanic. He enjoys boating, lobstering and scalloping.

Marie is the Controller for Stokes Marine, Inc. Marie received her B.S. in Accounting from International College. She adds 14 years of experience with a local Certified Public Accounting Firm to our teams. Marie enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters.

Lisa was born and raised in St. Louis Missouri and just recently relocated to Cape Coral with her husband and one of her three sons. She comes to us with over 25 years of Accounting experience. She enjoys spending time with her family, three dogs and two cats.

Emily was born and raised in Lowell, Massachusetts. She attended college in MA, where she received her degree in accounting. While she loved living so close to Boston, she decided to relocate to Fort Myers to be closer to her grandparents. When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going to the beach, reading and traveling.

Megan, a native of Fort Myers, Florida, joined our Stokes Marine team in 2020. Initially contributing across multiple departments, Megan’s versatility and passion for excellence quickly became evident. In early 2023, she transitioned to the Human Resources Department where her commitment to professional growth and her dedication to fostering a positive and collaborative workplace environment has helped shape the culture at Stokes Marine. She is an active member of our Safety Committee, which demonstrates her dedication to ensuring a secure and healthy work environment for all employees. When not at work, Megan enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. She loves exploring the outdoors almost as much as her pup, Ella does, so they can frequently be found out and about exploring beaches, farmers markets, and local parks.
Dominique Stokes | Human Resources

Dominique’s primary goal at Stokes Marine is to take her passion for employee development and team building and provide for you the best overall experience, from the moment you call our office to completion of your marine project! She will also build upon the success of Stokes Marine through continuing and developing their Community Relations, PR, Marketing and Business Development. Dominique has spent over 13 years in the business prior to her arrival at Stokes Marine in March of 2012. Upon her move to Fort Myers, she joined Enterprise Rent- A- Car and worked in various capacities over 11 years including Branch Manager at RSW Airport, Business Rental Sales Executive in Lee and Collier County, and Area Manager in both Fort Myers and Naples. She is particularly proud of the many teams she developed to succeed in the areas of market penetration and growth, operational excellence, industry leading customer and account satisfaction, and team member retention. Dominique has her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Major in Marketing from the University of Florida. Dominique spends her free time with her husband and 2 children doing things such as boating, family dinners, and gator football!

Matt has over fifteen years of experience in residential and commercial construction. His past success in sales and as Construction Manager prior to joining the Service team demonstrate he as the proven ability to interface with customers and installation crews to ensure each job is completed to the highest standard. Matt was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio and enjoys the outdoors. He is an accomplished wrestler and enjoys spending his free time coaching kids.
Austin Peterson | General Manager

Austin is a native Floridian and has grown up in Southwest Florida. He currently is our General Manager. He left corporate America after 19 years in upper management and has returned to the area he and his family love. He, like most of the Stokes Marine staff is an avid boater, fisherman and little league baseball coach. If you don't see he and his family fishing Pine Island Sound or beaching it at North Captiva, you're likely to see them in Gainesville watching his Alma Mater Florida Gators.
Brent Stokes | President

Brent started Stokes Marine, Inc. from his passion for the water and boating combined with his strong desire to be an entrepreneur. After five years of selling pharmaceuticals and earning several sales honors with Merck & Co. in Southwest FL, the time was right in the January of 2003! He resigned from Merck & Co., purchased a barge and crane and began building what is now Stokes Marine, Inc. He completed high school at Fort Myers High and continued his education at the University of Florida where he graduated with a degree in Marketing. He learned a great deal about running a business and producing a quality product to last for many years to come from his parents who own and run Wyman Stokes Builder, Inc. a successful custom home building business out of Fort Myers FL. There is no question his desire to be a business owner stems from his parents. As a waterfront property owner himself, he is aware of the difference a great marine improvement in the form of a dock and boat lift can make when it comes to enjoying your waterfront property and making the most out of your investment. As an avid fisherman and life time boater he has spent most of his time on the water either working or enjoying our great resource with family and friends. Stokes Marine, Inc. was started with a strong commitment to designing and building a dock that will meet all the needs and exceed the expectations of our customers. This vision is what guides him while overseeing all the daily operations including earning your business during the bid process, double checking the quality and progress during construction, and ensuring successful inspection of your marine improvement.
