The team at Stokes Marine realizes you have options when it comes to removing your vinyl from your canopy for a pending storm. Price is one of the variables when making a hiring decision.
Stokes Marine is charging $940.00 to remove and reinstall the vinyl. This includes all new bungees. Typically, the lack of remaining elasticity requires the bungees to be replaced when reinstalling the vinyl. Stokes Marine will do these on a first come first serve basis. We will do our best to accommodate as many of these requests as possible. Signing up does not guarantee that the service will be provided based on available manpower and available safe working time before the storm. A confirmation email with pictures will be sent once vinyl is removed.
We recommend confirming pricing directly with other companies you may be considering. Our current understanding of pricing as of 9/23/22 is:
- Waterway Boat Lift Covers keeps an annual hurricane list. They charge $350.00 every year to be included on this list. Then if the vinyl needs to be removed, they charge $450 to remove it and reinstall it with new bungees ($200 to remove and reinstall and $250 for bungees). They are only removing vinyl for customers already on their hurricane list.
